My new project: Abstract Drawing

I am delighted to reveal my new project: Abstract Drawing.

After nearly 20 years dedicated to the world of manga drawing, this project marks an important step in my artistic journey.

Japanese mythology, through my work on Kojiki , has deeply influenced my vision and creative approach. Between 2021 and 2023, when creating my works, I thought a lot about what manga represents to me and my identity as a Japanese woman.

I first sought to eliminate the superfluous, the visually distracting, to return to the essential. Then, I left room for a form of soothing complexity, intended to arouse authentic emotion.

This is how my new work was born, the fruit of this introspection and renewal.
