Before introducing my current creations, I’d like to share with you a few memories and experiences that have marked me since my arrival in France.
In September 2007, I arrived in France as a student of French literature.
At the time, I thought I would stay for just a few years, but I hadn’t yet imagined such a long journey.
Then, in 2011, the earthquake in northern Japan changed everything.
Like many Japanese people living abroad, I felt a mix of helplessness, sorrow, and a surge of solidarity.
It was in this context that I led my very first manga drawing workshop during a charity event.
I didn’t know it yet, but that day, a new path opened up before me.
My first manga workshop took place in 2012, during an event supporting Fukushima.

At that time, there were very few people offering manga drawing lessons, and even fewer who had worked in the professional manga world and had come from Japan, like me.
Thanks to word of mouth, invitations started pouring in: libraries, manga clubs in middle schools, high schools, universities, and events centered on Japanese culture…

Sharing my passion for manga quickly became a true calling.
I discovered the joy of sharing a culture and guiding young people in their own artistic expression.
Over time, my activities expanded: I led workshops in nearly every Japanese cultural center in Paris, and I was fortunate to collaborate with the Japanese Embassy in several French-speaking countries.

Each project was a meeting, each workshop a unique experience.
It was an incredibly rich period, full of discoveries, challenges, and shared emotions.
That’s when my journey as an artist in France truly took root.
